Overall, this was a fun build. It came with everything you need, and extras for when you inevitably break a chair leg during assembly. This build is more difficult because the pieces seem fragile. I took extra care when punching them out and had to be gentile during assembly. Unlike most other miniature doll houses I've done, the windows are recessed into the window frame, which was VERY messy. They have many streaks of glue from this process. Also, the labeling of the windows in etched into the plastic, so it's still visible after assembly.
I was super excited about this kit because I'm tired of doing the ones with a million tiny, finicky little flowers or the ones that require you to cut out and glue on several thousand book covers. Overall I'm pleased with the quality of the material and how it turned out. The die cut pieces pop out much easier than in most of the other kits i've completed. One element i really like is a rack that displays wine and hurricane glasses. Its a really thoughtful detail and the glasses look really cute hanging upside down over the bar. This was a fun, low stress, two day project perfect for beanyone fed up with how badly they've been fat fingering roses. This kit includes a ton of extra pieces as well, in case one of the more fragile sections shatters due to those same sausage fingers! A few things to note, while the lighting is often fussy in many kits, i have struggled to make the switch work consistently with this kit- maybe the wall piece is too thick in the switch spot. Its not a big deal, there's a convenient flap in the back that offers access to the battery box and the switch works easily when pressed directly. I do intend to replace the awning with fabric. The kit supplied a sticker for the front and side awnings, and while the rest of the kit is very sturdy and fits together well, this leaves a lot to be desired- the sticker just won't stay in place, it looks wrinkly and will rip if jostledginners or. Little devil enjoying a drink at the outside bar not included!
This is a fun and colorful kit that looks like it will be fun to put together. My grandson who is 10 will be able to do most of it himself. It is one of the less complicated kits I have purchased. There is no painting or paper cutting involved and the board pieces are thick and precise. Not much gluing involved—I glue more than really necessary just for security. I am fascinated by miniatures and this one is very detailed. Instructions are mostly pictures and easy to interpret.
This was a good build. There a a lot of little pieces. Need patience.

Unique, but less DIY than I'm used to.
Normally, when I work on a miniature room kit, the directions have you MAKE everything, you use buttons, beads, wire, paper, etc to create the lamp, cup, vase, flowers, the list goes on! However, this kit uses premade miniature glases pre-filled and colored, stickers, and everything is pre-printed onto the wood pieces, there is very little "creation" involved.I do however LOVE the wiring set up! In most, you spends so much time trying to glue the tiny wires into the correct place, so the little bars to hol everything where it belongs is incredible! I did use a little glue to hold the color changing light in the game console, but only because the bulb kept slipping out of the little hole it went into! Also, in the directions, the chair part A4 is labeled as A3 in the book. A3 is part of another part of the bar.All in all, it was an easy build and would make a great first try into the world of miniature room creation, but will liekly frustrate someone who has made as many as I have (roughly 50).
